ROOTS: Pin-a-Go-Go hereby pays homage to our first leaders Walt, Jerry and Spud who back in 1988 organized "Pinathon" (our predecessor) in Roseville, CA.  We recently found old flyers that indicate 1997, not 1996 (like we previously thought) was the year this show moved to Dixon to be renamed "Pin-a-Go-Go".

To find out more about the morph, click on "HISTORY" to the left.

Thanks for attending our 20th Annual show!
20 flippin' years, pardner!

The 20th Annual Pin-a-Go-Go was a huge success thanks to all those that supported it. We’ve added up the bills, paid them and the rent and have been left with a chunk of money which we traditionally hand over to charity. This year we presented a check for just over $30,000 to the Dixon Teen Center at a regular City Council meeting at Dixon City Hall. On hand were the board members of the Northern California Pinball Association who cheerfully presented the “big check” to the DTC board who were overjoyed to receive it!

Thanks to all who helped with the show…the people who brought the games and the people who volunteered their time before, during and after the show. We could not have done it without you!

Is it too soon to talk about next year’s show? Certainly not! Mark your calendar for May 19, 20 and 21, 2017 when we will again together put on the “longest-running pinball show west of the Mississippi!”

    Proceeds from this event...

This annual event is presented by the Northern California Pinball Association, a non-profit organization. The show has long been supported by pinball enthusiasts from all over Northern California and benefits local youth charities like the Dixon Teen Center and the Boys & Girls Club of Vacaville.  At the 2014 show over $24,000 was raised and donated to charity. See the DTC website.  Learn about the 2012 donation to DTC.
Many people bring their pinball machines to share, the organizers and volunteers are not paid to put on the show, we spread pinball joy and everyone benefits!

Click here to see a thank you letter from past benefactors.

Food Court: Smell something cooking? The Dixon Teen Center and Dixon Rotary will be offering chicken sandwiches, sirloin burgers, hot dogs, freshly baked cookies, chips, snacks, ice cold soda/bottled water and other goodies! 4 out of 5 doctors agree that to excel in hand/eye coordination, frequent refueling is strongly advised! Tables are provided nearby--so plan to have a meal or a snack at Pin-a-Go-Go this year!

The red marker on the map above shows the free parking lot - just park and walk across the street to the show.

Pin-a-Go-Go is located "in the middle of everywhere" as we are only 28 miles from the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and about an hour away from the beautiful city of San Francisco. Six Flags is 36 miles away, you are near the picturesque Napa Valley or in another direction - California's Gold Country - and Dixon is a short distance from Old Sacramento, home to the famous California State Railroad Museum. Speaking of museums, the Pacific Pinball Museum is about 60 miles close as well! Ever seen Lake Tahoe in the Spring? Just a little over 2 hours away. Jelly Belly Factory Tours are close -- only a half hour away -- and right next door is Budweiser who also has free (hicup) brewery tours!. Pin-a-Go-Go is surrounded by lots of places to see and things to do!
